Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) helps clients recover from their addiction in a safe and comfortable setting, under the guidance of professionals. It is our most flexible treatment option as it provides clients with all of the intensive therapy and group sessions they need for a safe and successful recovery, while at the same time living outside of our treatment facility. Whether the client is struggling with addiction or has a dual diagnosis, we can help. This is often the level of treatment recommended for clients after they have completed a detox program and a Residential Treatment Center (RTC) program.
Our IOP provides clients with a safe and comfortable setting to recover from addiction and/or address their dual diagnosis under the guidance of professionals. At Embrace Treatment Center, our staff make your recovery their business. Our qualified and compassionate staff members are invested in you every step of the way, supporting you and providing you with the insight and resources you need to live a successful life.
Our Intensive Outpatient Program gives clients the tools they need for a successful recovery. Clients work with their individual counselors and peers in a group setting on a daily and/or weekly basis depending on their personal needs. Every client is treated individually because every client is different. Here are some of the highlights of our program:
At the core of our residential program is a staff of top notch professionals who make your recovery their business. We believe that providing insightful care and empathetic support is necessary for every client’s success. Our licensed, highly-credentialed professionals and support staff are ready to support you or your loved one in their recovery journey.
Dual Diagnosis exists when someone has a mood disorder and a substance abuse disorder simultaneously. For those with dual diagnosis there are two coexisting disorders. Therefore treatment needs to be specially tailored. It may include additional therapy or a different approach to tackle important issues in order to fully thrive during the recovery process and afterwards. Our recovery staff and support staff are fully ready to help you on your journey.
Our one-on-one counseling sessions provide clients with the tools they need to get past trauma or difficult issues and get into the life they’re meant to live. Clients work individually with a counselor for a specific amount of time per week. These sessions are based on the individual needs of the client. One-on-one session topics are individually organic and vary between clients.
Behavioral therapy is proven to be effective for those with addiction issues. The goal is to help clients recognize the attitudes and behaviors driving their addiction. This type of therapy helps root out unhealthy habits, build new & healthy behaviors, and identify coping mechanisms in order to live a happy & healthy life in recovery and beyond. Some of the most popular behavioral therapies include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Therapy, and Family Behavioral Therapy (FBT).
At Embrace Treatment Center, we offer a variety of therapies to complement your one-on-one sessions. Complementary therapies are beneficial to recovery because of their holistic approach to each individual client. This might include an exercise class or nutritional therapy. Another great example is Mindfulness therapy. Many of these therapies fall under the umbrella of “group therapy” – which is simply a therapeutic session that is done with a group of your peers instead of just you and your individual counselor. Working through past issues and tackling emotions in a group setting is proven to be effective. In group sessions your peers often bond and build each other up when someone is struggling. Group sessions are often focused on specific topics, like “managing cravings” or “coping skills.” Sometimes sessions have a specific goal like teaching people stress management techniques.
At Embrace Treatment Center, our goal is to put you on the path of recovery and give you as much knowledge, insight, and education as possible. We do this by providing you with classes, lectures, workshops and other training programs. In-depth learning is another example of the full treatment that clients get when they work with us. Workshops often have topics like “responding to cravings” or “healthy ways to reduce stress” or “relapse prevention techniques.”

The Affordable Care Act made rehab required by insurance companies. That means, under the law your insurance company MUST have an addiction rehab program for you. Your insurance company might want you to work with specific rehab providers. Contact us to see if your insurance covers treatment. Also, your insurance company may limit the days you can spend in treatment and they may not cover your entire stay in rehab. None of this is a surprise – you’ll know from the beginning what your insurance covers and what they won’t cover. Part of tailoring your individual treatment plan to you is working within the parameters of your health insurance provider to give you the best and most effective care possible.
The Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) entitles you to up to 12 weeks of unpaid medical leave. You may decide to let your employer know you’re attending rehab during this time or you may choose to not disclose where you’ll be. You’re also protected under the Affordable Care Act to seek treatment for a substance abuse disorder.
